Everything else is situational. Disposables are for the night you forgot. Decorative pasties are for when the pasty is the outfit.
How to apply pasties so they stay on
- Clean, dry skin. No lotion, no oil, no sunscreen. This matters more than the product.
- Peel the backing and keep it. You need it for storage.
- Centre the pasty, then press outward from the middle so air escapes rather than getting trapped.
- Hold for about thirty seconds. Body heat improves the seal.
- Mirror check standing and sitting.

Taking them off, and reusing them
Peel slowly from the edge rather than pulling from the centre. In a warm shower is easiest if your skin is sensitive.
For silicone, rinse the adhesive side in cool or lukewarm water with a little gentle soap using your fingertips, air dry adhesive side up, then return them to the backing. That is the whole maintenance routine, and skipping it is what turns a long lasting pair into a two week pair. Never hot water, never scrubbing, never drying face down on a towel where lint can get to them.

Do pasties work instead of a bra?
